We will then narrow down to the riders we would like to see in person for a formal evaluation. When creating your video of your riding make sure that you demonstrate the following:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Stance and Balance<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage instability &#8211; remain balanced in varying conditions<\/li>\n<li>Strong adaptable position (In and out of neutral) over varied terrain\/features<\/li>\n<li>Hip and knee flexion and extension &#8211;\u00a0 not breaking at waist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Edging:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiate turns with front hip\/leg, transition through rear hip\/leg<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Center of Mass inside turn<\/li>\n<li>Balance over working edge<\/li>\n<li>Carve turns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pressure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generate lift (Pop, Coast, Retract or Ollie\/Nollie)<\/li>\n<li>Absorption on edge and\/or flat based<\/li>\n<li>Adjust turn shape using flexion &amp; extension<\/li>\n<li>Build board pressure and deflect it in direction of travel<\/li>\n<li>Pop \/ Resistance through takeoff<\/li>\n<li>Stabilization in air<\/li>\n<li>Control and absorb landing forces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submissions can be submitted to Kristin@snowboardnovascotia.ca<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>D\u00e9sol\u00e9, cet article est seulement disponible en English.
