You may click the link to switch the active language.<\/p><p><\/p>\n<h2>ID Camps<\/h2>\n<h5>NS Snowboard has an open try out process and are often looking for new athletes.<\/h5>\n<h5 class=\"kvgmc6g5 cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql ii04i59q\">We host ID Camps at the beginning and end of each season.<\/h5>\n<p><strong>Early Season: <\/strong>\u00a0Date to Be Posted December<\/p>\n<p>The Session will run from 6:30-8:30pm at Martock.<\/p>\n<p><strong>End of Season:<\/strong> We try hold 3 ID Camps. One at Martock, and one at\u00a0 Wentworth and one in Cape Breton after the end of the event season (late March)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Athletes are expected to come with appropriate equipment and outerwear and must have a helmet.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">The ID Camp is open to riders 11 years old or older. The Camp will consist of athlete assessments and on snow coaching from our provincial team coaches, with a recommendation on next steps for each athlete based on their skill level.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Freestyle riders should be comfortable riding regular &amp; switch on all terrain, and be able to ride medium (M) park features including rails &amp; jumps. Minimum rotation is 180 in at least two directions.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Speed riders should be comfortable riding regular &amp; switch on all terrain, carve on green &amp; blue terrain, and be comfortable hitting small jumps in the park.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Pre-registration is required, and all participants must have a NS Snowboard membership.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Registration links will be found on our events page once open<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Coaches also attend events and will be scouting\u00a0 when able.<\/p>\n<h6 dir=\"auto\"><\/h6>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">Any questions or if you are unable to make the above options but are still interested in joining the teams &#8211; please contact the Excellence Coach to start the conversation on your next steps.
