It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that we announce Kristin d\u2019Eon\u2019s departure from his role as Excellence Coach with NS Snowboard, effective June 4th, 2021.<\/p>\n

Since 2011, Kristin has played a critical role in the development and success of the organization and while we will miss him, we truly wish him the best of luck in his new endeavor as a Police Officer with the Halifax Regional Police Department!<\/p>\n

We want to thank Kristin for his 10 years of dedicated service which\u00a0involved many significant accomplishments, including:
\n– Advanced Coaching Diploma Graduate
\n– Coached at 9 Canadian Nationals
\n– Coached two athletes who were selected to represent Canada at the 2020 Youth Olympic Games
\n– Coached the 2015 Canada Winter Games with NS Snowboard athletes brining home two medals
\n– Multiple podium\/top 4 finishes at FIS\/Jr. Nationals\/NorAm Events
\n– Liam Moffatt making the Canada Snowboard NextGen Team and earning a top 8 at the World Championships
\n– NS Snowboard being classified as a Tier 1 Excellence sport recognized by Sport Nova Scotia, the Provincial Government & the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic<\/span><\/p>\n

Again, we cannot thank Kristin enough for his dedication, passion and enthusiasm he has given NS Snowboard and the greater snowboard community over the past 10 years.<\/p>\n
